Brendan graduates!

Recently we travelled to Armidale to The University of New England to watch Brendan graduate university with a Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree!

He began part-time Uni while still working as well in 2011, and in 2016 he was able to begin teaching. Now in October 2017, he was able to graduate!

We arrived early to pick-up his cap & gown (or academic dress as it's actually called) and took some photos in the beautiful grounds of UNE, before Brendan had to find his spot and we took a seat in the large crowd. Because the ceremony is outside, there's no limit on the amount of guests you can have, which is good, but it was an extremely hot day on this particular day, and I was super thankful I had some sunscreen & the girl's hats in my nappy bag!

We sat next to a lovely lady named Fiona who was there watching her daughter graduate, and she very kindly helped me when the girl's got a bit rowdy - it ended up being a 2-hour ceremony!

We were very excited to see Daddy's name being called out and Brendan walking up to get his degree! I think it's so important to mark milestone's like this, especially as Brendan worked so hard to get to this point. We are very proud of him and very happy we could be there to celebrate his achievements!

I'll leave you with some photos from the day!
